this is a story about rejection. or if you like the elevator pitch "its romeo and juliet in space"
this was drawn in form and composition class at college of san mateo in 1999. sam lives in the 9,000,000th dimention. there are no planet or water there. its just columns that orbit closely to a dying sun. when the columns float close to eachother the people try to all run and jump over to the other side so that they are no longer seperated from the others. but they never all manage to group together. sam is sent to earth to warn earth about the life giving properties of the water. he has a clock instead of a heart. he is not human but longs to feel his feet in the shallow water of a sand beach.
halfway to earth sam gets stranded briefly on a circular metal catwalk. a beam of light that transports beings through, runs vertically up and down through the center of the circular cat walk. strange aliens wander around the interdimensional crossroads.
