this is a story about rejection. or if you like the elevator pitch "its romeo and juliet in space"
Episode "Rocket Man". Daed's Dad, Apollo, spends one last day with Daed because he signed a bogus deal with the illuminati to leave earth forever on a space mission in the name of science (but really it was just really just a ploy to separate Apollo from the wrench of power). I call this episode rocket man because that song fits so perfectly.
Apollo explains that there is gold buried in the land. the west coast illuminati leader shows up to remind him of his contract
i have no copyright claim to this art. this is a painting, by the famous artist berkey. When apollo leaves earth its in a ship so big you have to go into space to get int the ship. and the ship is so big you can see it up in space even in broad daylight when then sun hits it right.
the flight plan. of course it s just for show. the illuminati plans to blow the ship up once its far enough away. whatever it takes to get rid of the wrench of power.
HIM and Daed meet for the first time at the age of six. HIM hase been under the supervision of the illuminati learning only strategy and war.
Apollo gives the wrench of power to the one with the most humility.
(but it doesn't last long, as soon as Apollo leaves there's an assassination on president Victoria, which creates chaos, and the wrench gets lost in the fray. Fortunately it wasn't the real wrench of power. the real one is hidden in the barn on the farm.)

after the space launch HIM is taken to the united nations chess tournament. with the new world peace in place, because of the wrench of power, wars are now fought on chessboards to decide winners of international disputes. The chess masters assume the possistion of the king on the board. when pieces are lost, those soldiers die on the chessboard as does the king when caught in a checkmate. BLOOD CHESS.

Tilden places the bloody kings crown on HIM's head.
Leaders of all the world powers converge on the farm upset that HIM has won all the world peace chess games and demand that HIM be removed from existence or prepare for world war 3. as long as nobody can beat America's chess champion, they will always be under america's thumb. And its not fair that the boy won ALL the chess games.
Daed runs off to explore and goes into his dad's barn and finds an old book of sacred text

HIM sees a glimpse of America running through the trees
The dandelion seeds float in the wind and fill the air
Daed and HIM build a dam together in the river
HIM becomes jealous of Daed and attacks,
Tilden enrolls HIM in the OMEGA MILITARY ACADEMY and takes him to participate in "the trial". a one year survival course for 100 orphans of the global elite, that they were not meant to survive.
Tilden takes HIM into the hypercube to be taken to the base. HIM will not see America again until he is 18, but he will not stop thinking of her or the moment that those doors closed.
apollo knew it was a trap but he accepted the science mission on the space ship knowing his sons would be protected by a higher power he did not yet understand. once the ship was far enough away in space the illuminati blew up the science vessel, while everyone on earth idolized his epic journey, not knowing apollo floats through terrifying space in a crystal escape pod from the ship.
